After Pakistan, Champions Trophy will also come to India, PoK tour cancelled, see full schedule

Champions Trophy: The Champions Trophy of ODI cricket, to be held from February 19 to March 9, is to be played in Pakistan, but amidst the conundrum of where and in which model the Champions Trophy should be organised, India has refused to play its matches in Pakistan. The trophy of this tournament to be played in Islamabad, Pakistan has reached on 14th November, after which the Pakistani government announced to transfer the trophy to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). But after the crisis with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), ICC canceled it. The trophy will not go to any city in PoK.

Along with this, ICC has announced a new schedule for the trophy tour, under which the trophy will no longer go to Pok. As per the scheduled schedule, the trophy will also come to India on a 12-day tour. The trophy will be brought to India from January 15 to January 26. Apart from this, this trophy will also be taken to other countries for tour.

ICC has condemned the action of Pakistan Cricket Board and banned it. What happened was that on the pretext of setting the tempo of the Champions Trophy, Pakistan decided to rotate the Champions Trophy to different cities of Pakistan for the fans.

Attack on Pakistan: Champions Trophy journey not in ‘PoK’

From tomorrow till 24 November, the trophy was to travel across Pakistani cities and fans were expected to turn out to watch it. The Pakistan Cricket Board also announced the cities and routes of the trophy tour. Pakistan Cricket Board, showing its generosity, also included the cities of Muri, Skardu, Hunza and Muzaffarabad of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) in this trophy tour. Not only this, Pakistan Cricket Board posted the names of these disputed cities on ‘X’.

If Pakistan succeeds in doing this and the Indian Cricket Board and ICC ignore this step of Pakistan, then in future Pakistan can claim that ‘See, we also traveled to POK for the Champions Trophy.’ Thus it was proved that PoK belongs to Pakistan. Actually, PoK is disputed by the Indian government and cannot be called a part of Pakistan.

After seeing the name of three cities of PoK in the list of various cities of Champions Trophy by Pakistan Cricket Board, Indian Cricket Board Secretary Jay Shah immediately protested to the ICC urging the Pakistan Cricket Board to exclude the cities of PoK. Needed

The ICC also found Pakistan’s intentions wrong and told the Pakistan Cricket Board that the three cities of PoK should be kept out of the Pakistan tour of the Champions Trophy. After this decision of ICC, Pakistan Cricket Board has stopped the program of this trophy tour.

The ICC may also have taken note of the extent to which the Pakistan Cricket Board can go, which is usually a trophy tour of the host country in their home country after the first schedule of an ICC event is announced, although the 2025 Champions Trophy is not on the schedule. After this controversy, India will not go to play in Pakistan, the final seal has not been given on this, but Pakistan Cricket Board has gone ahead of ICC and announced that we will organize the tournament.

Instead of giving the message that we have cordial attitude towards India and we are non-politicians, Pakistan Cricket Board and Pakistan are deliberately provoking India, after this act it has become more certain that India will not go to Pakistan.
