The wife, who was dreaming of honeymoon abroad after marriage, has now decided to separate from her husband. She has also sent a divorce notice to her husband. The matter came to light when her husband brought the newly married woman home after visiting Ayodhya and Varanasi.
A woman living in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has filed for divorce after eight months of marriage. It was argued in the court that she has not been in contact with her husband since marriage. The woman has said that her husband took her to Varanasi and Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh with his parents instead of Goa for their honeymoon.
Regarding the matter, Family Court Marriage Counselor Shail Awasthi said on Thursday (January 25) that the divorce petition is currently in the counseling stage. Efforts are being made to bring about reconciliation between the woman and her husband.
According to a marriage counselor, the woman was married on May 3 last year. After marriage, they had decided to go on honeymoon abroad. Whereas the husband is not in favor of going abroad for honeymoon.
Actually, the woman works in a private company and her husband is an IT professional. The husband booked flights to Ayodhya and Varanasi without informing his wife. The woman came to know about this a day before leaving for the journey.
According to reports, the husband told his wife that her mother wanted to go to Ayodhya before the consecration of the Ram temple idol. Although initially the woman did not express any objection to going on a trip, after returning home, fights started taking place in the house. Later the matter escalated so much that the wife sent a divorce notice to the husband. The woman's argument behind this is that the husband cares more about his parents than her.
