Nawada, 21 August (HS). After many years, movement of armed Naxalites has been seen once again in Sawaiyatand Panchayat of Rajauli police station area of Nawada district. Villagers of Sawaiyatand are worried due to movement of Naxalites after many years. An atmosphere of terror has been created in the area. If sources are to be believed, more than a dozen Naxalites armed with weapons have been seen in Bhalamandawa of Sawaiyatand Panchayat. All the Naxalites were in uniform and all of them had weapons. Naxal activity in the forest areas of Sawaiyatand had stopped for the last four-five years, but from Saturday, movement of armed Naxalites has been seen again, due to which terror has spread among the villagers.

Search operation against Naxalites stopped is also a reason

Experts say that when continuous search operations were conducted against Naxalites in these areas with the help of paramilitary forces, then the movement of Naxalites in these areas had stopped. The district administration has stopped the search operation being conducted against the extremists in the forest areas for a long time. This is the reason that the gathering of Naxalites has once again started in the forest areas. If the police takes the right action at the right time, then definitely the Naxalites will be driven out of the district again.

The forests of the Rajauli area bordering Giridih, Koderma of Jharkhand and Gaya district of Bihar, which are affected by extremism, were once considered to be the stronghold of Naxalites. Many times, more than half a dozen Naxalites have been killed in a single day in an encounter between the police and Naxalites. The villagers of the area do not dare to speak openly due to fear of Naxalites. But their movement has been confirmed in hushed tones. Now it remains to be seen what kind of strategy the police administration adopts to drive the extremists out of the district.
