Dandy: In Banka district of Bihar, after losing Rs 35 from her purse, the teacher took the students to Durga temple and administered oath there. When the parents protested, Block Education Officer Kumar Pankaj removed teacher Neetu Kumari from the concerned school and sent her to another school. After the incident, only 87 out of 161 children enrolled in the school reached school on Friday.
It is reported that Neetu, a teacher of EssiChakka Primary School, has claimed that Rs 35 has been lost from her purse and she is saying that the money has been taken out of her purse. After this, the pockets of 105 children present in the school were searched. Even after this, when the money was not received, she took all the children to the Durga temple located near the school and made everyone take an oath that they had not taken the money. When the parents of the children came to know about this, they expressed strong protest and demanded his removal from the job.
On receiving the information, Education Department official Sanjay Jha arrived. Jha tried to convince the parents but they did not agree. Ultimately the teachers assured action against Neetu. The parents agreed to this and the officer transferred Neetu from this school to another school. Information in this regard has been sent to the district headquarters.
