A man from Punjab murdered his wife with a paddle in Canada, after which he made a video call to his mother and showed her the body. In the video call, the accused said that I have made my wife sleep forever. The whole family was surprised to see this. The murdered husband had reached Canada five days ago to meet his daughter. The police arrested him and took further action.

March 15 incident

The deceased has been identified as 41-year-old Balwinder Kaur. Balwinder was found dead at his home in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Authorities said the incident happened March 15 in the 3400-block of Wagner Drive. Canada's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said all efforts were made to save Balwinder, but he was declared dead at the hospital. Her husband Jagpreet Singh was arrested from the spot in connection with the incident.

According to the police, after the incident, Jagpreet made a video call to his mother in Ludhiana and said that he had murdered his wife. Balwinder's sister made a shocking revelation. He said that Jagpreet made a video call to his mother in Ludhiana and confessed to the murder and said that I had put her to sleep forever.

Balwinder's sister said- there used to be fights over money.

Balwinder's family members told that there was a fight between the two over money. Jagpreet had gone to Canada a week ago. He had stopped working and was unemployed. They married in 2000 and have a daughter and a son. However, Jagpreet's family has denied the allegations. He said that Balwinder and Jagpreet Raji were living happily.

Jagpreet's brother claims – marketing was done a few hours before the incident

Jagpreet's brother said that we have not yet received information about what actually happened between my brother and his wife on the night of March 15. Neither he nor our family ever harassed Balwinder Kaur. He was living a happy life. He had returned from shopping a few hours before the incident.

He further said that after the incident, my brother called our mother and told that he had accidentally injured his wife. He was apologizing. Nothing was done intentionally. No one knows what happened that night because his daughter was also outside.
