Mathura, 02 September (HS). After Shri Krishna Janmotsav, preparations for Radhastami (Radha Janmotsav) have started at the district administration level. Radhastami will be celebrated with great pomp in Barsana on 10-11 September in which 25 lakh devotees are expected to reach. For this, the fair area has been divided into 16 sectors.
On Monday late evening, District Magistrate Shailendra Kumar Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Kumar Pandey held a meeting with the officials in the Collectorate Auditorium regarding the arrangements. In this, a strategy was decided regarding the arrangements for Radha Rani's birth anniversary at Radha Rani temple in Barsana at 5 am on 10 to 11 September. In which the Abhishek Darshan of Radha Rani's birth anniversary will be held for one hour, from 4 am on 11 September. In view of the arrangements, the fair area was divided into 7 zones and 16 sectors.
It has been decided that all the devotees would be allowed to enter through the old stairs of the temple. An alternative route will be made for elderly people visiting the temple. 48 parking places and 86 barriers will be installed in the fair area. To keep a watch on the entire fair area through CCTV cameras, cameras will be installed at 52 places, of which 29 are temporary and 23 are permanent. To enter the temple, the devotees performing parikrama will have to re-enter from the Radha Rani gate after performing parikrama of the entire Brahmanchal hill.
Executive Officer Barsana was instructed to make arrangements for lighting on the ropeway stairs, ensure necessary action by issuing notices to dilapidated houses. Senior Superintendent of Police instructed CO Govardhan to ensure that all bhandaras are set up away from the road, no bhandara is set up on the road. Pilgrims should not be allowed to come on the outer road, public address system should be installed. Doctors, police and magistrates should coordinate with each other. Arrangements for coolers should be made on the stairs.
The District Magistrate directed the Food Safety to maintain the quality of all food items. The Roadways ARM was instructed to deploy 120 Roadways and 20 Municipal Corporation buses. Carriers should be removed from the buses.
Chief Development Officer Manish Meena, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Yoganand Pandey, Additional District Magistrate Administration Vijay Shankar Dubey, Superintendent of Police Rural Triguna Vishen, City Magistrate Rakesh Kumar, CMO Dr. Ajay Kumar Verma, Dr. Bhudev Singh, ARTO Neetu Singh, Executive Engineer Irrigation Rajesh Kumar and others were present in the meeting.
