Bangladesh has also demanded action from the Indian government and requested security for its country’s diplomats. In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh on Friday, it was said that the Indian government should take immediate steps to prevent such incidents in future.
Bangladesh has appealed to India to take appropriate steps to stop the protests. Furthermore, he has strongly condemned the desecration of our national flag and the burning of the effigy of Chief Advocate Dr. Muhammad Yunus during the violent protests in Kolkata.

The Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh has expressed deep concern over the protests outside the Deputy High Commission of Bangladesh in Kolkata. The MEA statement stressed that Bangladesh condemns all forms of violence and requested India to ensure the safety of the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, other diplomatic missions in India and all Bangladeshi diplomats and staff members .
The ministry said that although the situation seems to be under control now, there is a feeling of insecurity among the members of the Deputy High Commission. Bangladesh reiterated its commitment to maintain peaceful diplomatic relations and appealed to India to immediately resolve the incident to preserve the sanctity of the diplomatic complex and the dignity of both countries.
What is the whole matter?
Bengal MLAs (ISF) led by Navsad Siddiqui demonstrated outside the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission against the oppression of minority Hindus in Bangladesh. In this regard, ISF leaders also submitted a memorandum to the Deputy High Commission. ISF personnel were stopped by the police at the gate of Bangladesh Deputy High Commission. Only four people were allowed inside to submit the memorandum.
India also warned Bangladesh against attacks on Hindus
India responded on Friday before issuing any statement towards the Bangladesh government. India said that the interim government of Bangladesh should take the responsibility for the security of all minorities. He also expressed serious concern over the increasing incidents of aggressive rhetoric and violence in the neighboring country. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India has consistently and strongly raised the issue of threats and targeted attacks against Hindus and other minorities with the government of Bangladesh.
