On the occasion of Republic Day, Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya ji hoisted the flag while participating in the parade program in a dignified atmosphere at Police Lines, Prayagraj. After the flag hoisting, the tricolor waved proudly along with the national anthem, due to which the entire campus was filled with the spirit of patriotism.

Paying tribute to the makers of the Constitution, the freedom fighters and the brave sons who sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of the country, he said that Republic Day is a symbol of the strength of our democracy, the supremacy of the Constitution and awareness of civic duties and 26th January inspires us to repeat the resolve of service, discipline and dedication to the nation.

On this occasion, an attractive and disciplined Republic Day Parade was organized in which the police force, NCC/PAC contingents and other contingents marched and saluted. The parade and cultural performances conveyed the message of national pride and unity and extended warm wishes to all on Republic Day and called upon everyone to work together to build a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India.

Public representatives, administrative officers, police officers and a large number of citizens were present in the program.
