After Haryana, Gehlot got big responsibility in Maharashtra, Pilot was also made senior observer

Jaipur, 15 October (Hindustan Reporter). Congress has distributed important responsibilities in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. For these elections, the party has given a big responsibility to two veteran leaders of Rajasthan, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. Ashok Gehlot along with G Parameshwara have been appointed as senior observers of Mumbai and Konkan division, while Sachin Pilot and Uttam Kumar Reddy have been made senior observers of Marathwada division.

A release issued by the Congress said that the party's National President has appointed AICC Senior Observer and State Election Senior Co-ordinator. The party has tried to strengthen the election preparations by appointing these experienced leaders as observers in the Maharashtra elections. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who became active in politics after several days of bed rest at the time of Haryana Assembly elections, was made the senior observer of the party by the party high command. Along with him, senior Congress leaders Ajay Maken and Pratap Singh Bajwa also got the responsibility of senior observers. Not only this, Gehlot was also made a star campaigner.
