Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal got bail from the Supreme Court on Friday. After getting bail, he came out of Tihar Jail by evening. After this, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal went to Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place at 12 noon on Saturday. His wife Sunita Kejriwal was also present with him. CM Kejriwal went to Hanuman Temple and offered prayers.
Let us tell you that despite heavy rain on Friday, a crowd gathered outside Tihar Jail to welcome CM Arvind Kejriwal. After his release from jail, AAP workers and leaders called Kejriwal a hero. The atmosphere of the area was filled with enthusiasm during the beats of drums and sloganeering in favor of Kejriwal. Everyone was eagerly waiting for the release of the Chief Minister. Supporters were carrying posters and banners with slogans written in favor of Kejriwal.
Senior party leaders, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, stood on top of a truck and raised slogans. Despite getting drenched in the rain, AAP leaders and supporters were enthusiastically raising slogans of 'Jail ke taale toote, Kejriwal rahiye' and 'Bhrashtachar ki ek pukar, Kejriwal, Kejriwal'. As soon as Kejriwal came out of the Tihar gate, the crowd outside welcomed him with applause.
Kejriwal, dressed in a blue shirt, waved to the crowd of supporters before addressing them from the roof of his car. Similar scenes of celebration were seen outside the chief minister's official residence, where his supporters gathered to welcome their leader.
