The film was accused of hurting the sentiments of a particular community. accused and a petition was filed in the court to stop the release of the film. During the hearing, the Supreme Court stayed the release of the film till June 14. The matter was heard in the Bombay High Court on June 19, 2024 and the film was given a clean chit. The High Court said that there is nothing objectionable in the film. It was also highlighted that the film promotes the development of women. The court has recommended specific amendments, which have been accepted by the filmmakers and petitioners. The Bombay High Court has allowed the filmmakers to remove some dialogues and scenes from the trailer. Apart from this, the court recommended the inclusion of two 12-second disclaimers in the film. Apart from this, the court allowed the release of the film after the necessary amendments and fresh certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Along with this, the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh on the makers of the film for releasing the trailer without CBFC certification.
