Siddharth Kaul Retirement: The mega auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season has recently concluded. After this, now the news of IPL star’s retirement has come to light. Fast bowler Siddharth Kaul retired from Indian cricket. Kaul made his debut in international cricket in 2018. He played 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches, taking a total of 4 wickets.

Kaul, 34, played domestic cricket for Punjab and took 297 wickets at an average of 26.77 in 88 first-class matches. He took five wickets 17 times. Siddharth Kaul was a part of the Under-19 World Cup winning team in 2008 under the captaincy of Virat Kohli.

When Sunrisers Hyderabad won the IPL title in 2016, Siddharth Kaul was a part of the team. However, he could not play any matches in the season. Kaul announced his retirement through a social media post, saying, ‘As a child, playing cricket in the plains of Punjab, it was my dream to play for the country.

Kaul has played a total of 54 matches in the IPL since 2013, taking 58 wickets at an average of 29.24. Has not played for India since February 2019. Siddharth Kaul was also shortlisted in the mega auction of IPL 2025 but he was not bought by anyone during the auction. Siddharth’s base price was Rs 40 lakh.
