Ayodhya, 21 November (Hindustan Reporter). Tremendous development is taking place in Ayodhya from tourism point of view. Many projects have been launched here to make Ayodhya a global tourism city. One of these was the plan to run water metro boat in Saryu. After the arrival of water in Saryu, its operation has been resumed from Deepotsav. The 50 seater metro has started running between Naya Ghat and Tulsi Ghat.
Water metro is attracting tourists
After the installation of Ramlala in the grand temple of Ayodhya, a large number of devotees are arriving. New schemes are being launched continuously to keep them in Ayodhya as much as possible from the tourism point of view. One of these includes operation of water metro. Till now such water metro was being operated in Kashi only. Now its operation has started again here. It is attracting a lot of devotees.
Know what is the specialty
This cruise has seating arrangements for about 50 people. Currently, it travels three to four times daily from Tulsidas Ghat to Naya Ghat area, completing a 30-minute journey. It is completely air conditioned. CC cameras have been installed for security reasons. It is equipped with LCD and sound, in which bhajans are often played.
Right now the fare is Rs 150
According to Tourism Department’s Board Club member and Cruise Captain Anwar Singh, at present it is being operated only between Naya Ghat and Tulsidas Ghat area. The fare has been fixed at Rs 150 for adults and Rs 100 for children. Further it will be operated from Sant Tulsidas Ghat to Guptar Ghat.
