After Ariha gets permission to celebrate Paryushan, tutor reaches Germany from Mumbai | News India

Mumbai: Ariha Shah, the three-and-a-half-year-old daughter of a Jain couple living in Bhayander near Mumbai, has been stuck in foster care in Germany for three years, so efforts are being made to bring her back to India. Then, due to the efforts of the Jain community, Ariha was allowed to celebrate the holy Paryushan festival of the Jain community for the first time. For this, 22-year-old Ghvi Vaidya from Mumbai took special permission and came to Germany to study Jainism. Ariha has been given information about Indian culture, the basics of Jainism. She is also learning about Indian living, lifestyle and food. Thus, the Jain community, knowing that the Indian rituals of Ariha kept in Parana, Germany are still alive, has now started doubling efforts to bring it home.

With devotees doing more than 2.5 lakh chanting and over 15,000 fasting so far during the Paryushan festival, thousands of people from the country and abroad have responded to the campaign to bring Ariha back to India. Now the Jain community is intensifying efforts to bring Ariha back to India.

The hard work of the leaders of Jain community paid off.

The entire Jain community and Maharaj sahab have been in constant touch with the German Embassy in New Delhi and the German Foreign Ministry in Ballan for the past one year. Discussing how to bring Arihan back to India and also ensuring that he gets a chance to learn his religion and Gujarati language while staying in Germany. Finally, after a year of tireless efforts, the German Foreign Ministry succeeded in persuading the German Child Service to allow Arihan to celebrate the holy Jain festival Paryushan.

Training in Jain Rites

The German Child Service allowed only two one-hour visits a day. Ariha was taught the basic prayers of Jainism. In which she got the opportunity to listen to Navkar Mantra, Mangalik and Japa. Ariha was explained the stories of Girnarji Tirtha and Palitana Tirtha and she was introduced to God through pictures of Lord Mahavira and Lord Parshvanath. Ariha was also taught about the importance of compassion and protecting small creatures. Arihan was also asked to salute the Indian national flag to instill a sense of patriotism towards India and make her realize her Indian identity. Arihan showed great enthusiasm and kept the national flag with her. It is worth noting that during these two days, Ariha was also given Gujarati and Jain food. When Ariha was asked if she liked these foods, Ariha said that she liked rotli, fafda, khandvi and khakhra. So this clearly shows that despite living in Germany, Indian culture is flowing in her blood.

Widespread response to Jain society's campaign.

During this Paryushan festival, the Jain community started a new campaign for Ariha. Where people are praying and fasting for Ariha through the mantra of spiritual power to bring Ariha back to India. Thousands of people from India and abroad have joined this campaign. Where more than 25 lakh prayers of Navkar Mantra and more than 15,000 fasts have been completed through this campaign Arihan and many people are still contributing. The Jain community is making every possible effort to bring their minor girl back to India. Yatin Shah, leading the campaign to bring Ariha back to India, told Gujarat News that the Jain community has felt very good ever since Ariha came to know about Jainism. But, if the Government of India tries more, then the possibility of bringing back India's daughter can open up.
