New Delhi: ( FlightBomb Threat) Two international flights of Indigo Airlines have received a bomb threat at Mumbai Airport today. Earlier, an Air India flight from Mumbai to New York was also threatened with a bomb. After receiving the threat, an Air India flight had to make an emergency landing at Delhi Airport.

IndiGo flight 6E 1275 from Mumbai to Muscat and IndiGo flight 6E 56 from Mumbai to Jeddah have received bomb threats. There were 258 passengers on both Indigo flights. However, after investigation the flights were diverted towards their destination. According to the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), a total of three planes have received bomb threats.
What did Indigo say?
According to IndiGo spokesperson, as soon as there was a bomb threat in both these planes, they were immediately taken to a separate area from the airport as per security protocol. After this the aircraft was inspected.
The airport security team, bomb disposal squad and other relevant agencies were involved in the process. Indigo has said that the safety of passengers is their priority and every step is being taken to ensure that there is no harm to the passengers.
135 passengers in Air India flight
An Air India flight was also investigated after receiving a bomb threat. The flight was diverted to another runway. The flights were investigated for several hours. Air India flight AI 657 was carrying 135 passengers and crew members.
