NDA got majority in 2024 elections

It is worth noting that in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP has won 240 seats. While NDA has got 292 seats. This time NDA has suffered a lot as compared to 2019. In the last election, NDA had won more than 350 seats. Then BJP had won 303 seats on its own.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken oath as PM for the third time. He took oath with his new cabinet at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The total number of ministers in Modi Government 3.0 is 72, out of which 30 ministers will be part of the cabinet. Apart from this, 5 ministers have been given independent charge. Also, 36 MPs have been given state level ministerial posts. Many such ministers have been included in Modi Cabinet 3.0, who were also ministers in Modi Government 2.0.
