Prayagraj, 05 July (HS). Harshit Mishra, Deputy Advisor of NITI Aayog, Government of India, on Friday launched the Sampoornata Abhiyan in the aspiring development block Bahria. He informed that 68 blocks have been selected in Uttar Pradesh on the basis of a total of 40 indicators. In which Koraon and Bahria blocks are identified from Prayagraj. Out of the said 40 indicators, the main 6 indicators are to be completed by running the Sampoornata Abhiyan from 4 July to 30 September in these aspiring blocks.
He said that to realize the vision of a developed India, we have to take a pledge by imbibing the Prime Minister's “Sankalp se Siddhi” that the target of 30 September set for fulfilling the parameters of Sampoornata Abhiyan in these two aspiring blocks should be completed one month before 31 August. Describing diabetes and high blood pressure as silent killers and not diseases, he said that all people above 30 years of age should get them checked regularly. He asked for 100% vaccination of children, prenatal care and supplementary nutrition to pregnant women. He encouraged people to use clean, hygienic home-cooked food and Shrianna instead of fast food.
On the third day of his visit to the district, the advisor of NITI Aayog, Government of India, first inspected the Primary School Birapur and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School in the aspiring block Bahria and obtained information about the facilities being available there. Thereafter, he visited the Composite School Nevada, Child Development Project, and the exhibition organised by the National Animal Disease and Health Department. On this occasion, information was given by different experts about the selected 6 parameters (health, education, agriculture, Anganwadi, social development and self-help group) of the Sampoornata Abhiyan. In the programme, a circular was also displayed by the Prime Minister in the context of the ambitious scheme Sampoornata Abhiyan about the 500 development blocks of the 112 aspiring districts in the country.
After this, the NITI Aayog advisor interacted with the women associated with Sangharsh Prerna Mahila Sankul Cluster Level Federation (CLF), Self Help Group, Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission and got information about the work being done by them. He participated in the Annaprasan and Godh Bharai program at Anganwadi Center Bharehta II. He also administered oath to the people present to saturate all the indicators of Sampoornata Abhiyan.
On this occasion, Sub-District Magistrate Phulpur Tapan Kumar Mishra, District Basic Education Officer Praveen Kumar Tiwari, DPO Dinesh Singh, Deputy DTO-Nodal Dr SK Singh, BDO Koraon Dhirendra Yadav, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Deputy Commissioner Labour, Superintendent Community Health Center Bahria, Deputy Veterinary Officer Bahria, Child Development Project Officer Bahria, all the officers and employees of Bahria and development block and village panchayat heads and area panchayat members, Anganwadi workers and regional public representatives were present.
