Additional Director General of Police, Varanasi Zone Piyush Mordia inaugurated the 41st Inter-district Badminton and Table Tennis Competition 2024 on Monday in the presence of Deputy Inspector General of Police Vindhyachal Zone and Superintendent of Police Mirzapur.
He also administered an oath to the participants to maintain sportsmanship among the players. Before this, he inaugurated the newly constructed indoor badminton court in the Police Line premises.
On the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the 41st Inter-District Badminton and Table Tennis Competition on Monday, Deputy Inspector General of Police Vindhyachal Zone RP Singh and Superintendent of Police Abhinandan welcomed the Additional Director General of Police Varanasi Zone by presenting him a bunch of flowers and wearing a badge and cap. Thereafter, the Additional Director General of Police inaugurated the newly constructed indoor badminton court in the Police Line premises. Teams from a total of 10 districts of Varanasi zone namely Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Bhadohi, Ballia, Mau, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Varanasi, Chandauli and Azamgarh participated in the competition.
Additional Director General of Police, Varanasi Zone addressed the participants and administered an oath to maintain the spirit of sports among them. During this time, Additional Superintendent of Police City, Additional Superintendent of Police Operation, all area officers and counter inspector and other officers and employees were present.
