Surat: An incident of honeytrap has come to light in Surat. In which a demand of Rs 20 lakh was first made by posing as PSI and D-Staff and threatening to implicate the contractor in a false case. After which Rs 5 lakh were seized. Police have arrested 4 people in this incident.
According to details received in this regard, a 45-year-old contractor living in Adajan was called to his house by his acquaintance Amanullah because he needed help. Therefore, when the contractor reached Amanullah’s house, a girl was present there. Meanwhile, Amanullah locked the room from outside and left.
After a few minutes 3 unknown persons came into the room and identified themselves as PSI Amit and Distaff Vijay and Alpesh Patel. Who threatened the contractor and removed his clothes and uploaded a nude video. After which the contractor demanded Rs 20 lakh in exchange for not getting involved in the rape case and grabbed Rs 5 lakh.
In this matter, the contractor lodged a complaint at Umra police station, the police registered a case against Amit, who identified himself as PSI, Vijay and Alpesh Patel, who identified himself as Isam, a distaff worker, and the girl Amanullah Shaikh. Sumit, who introduced himself as a distaff rickshaw puller, entered the room and investigated. In this crime, the police identified Amit Mansukhbhai Masru (Thakkar), Amanullah Janadullah Shaikh along with Vijay Manilal Mali and Alpeshkumar Jagdishbhai Patel, who identified themselves as PSI of DStaff, while preparations are being made to arrest Sumit and the girl present in the room. In preliminary investigation by police, two cases have already been registered against Amit, identified as PSI of Distaff, in Katargam. 1 offense has been registered against Alpesh at Kataraga and 1 offense each against Vijay at Amreli and Vadodara Railways. Whereas a crime is already registered against Amanullah in Pune and Sachin police stations.
