According to reports, Alia Fakhri has been charged with first-degree murder and four other charges. She is accused of intentionally setting fire to the garage of her ex-boyfriend’s home in Jamaica, Queens, killing her 35-year-old ex-boyfriend Edward Jacobs and his 33-year-old girlfriend Anastasia Attini.

According to the investigation and allegations, the press release further states that Aliya Fakhri arrived at Edward’s house at 6:20 am and shouted ‘You are all going to die today’ before setting it on fire. After this Alia set fire to the garage of the building. While Edward was sleeping on the second floor of the garage, Étienne saw the fire and quickly ran down to try to save him.
