According to reports, a complaint has been filed against a woman for sexually exploiting her and demanding sex in exchange for work in a film. According to a reporter from a Malayalam regional channel, the actress has filed a complaint against six men who sexually exploited the woman by promising her an acting opportunity.

The woman also revealed that the incident took place in Dubai in November. The woman hails from Kerala's Ernakulam district. Hours after a case was filed against 40-year-old Malayalam film star Nivin Pauly, the actor on Tuesday denied the allegations and said he would go to any extent to fight the case. Speaking to the media at a hurriedly called press conference on Tuesday evening, Pauly said, “I don't know who she is, I have never seen her or spoken to her. This is baseless news and I find the allegations false. To prove it, I will go to any extent.”

According to sources, the complaint states that after the Hema Committee report came out last month, they heard about several complaints and hence they decided to lodge a fresh complaint against Pauly. The Onukkal police in Ernakulam district have registered a case against Pauly, which will be handed over to the Kerala government's Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up to probe all cases of sexual exploitation of women associated with the Malayalam film industry.

Pauly, who won two Kerala Film Awards, started his career as a software engineer before joining the film industry in 2010. But later he chose the path of acting. He has done more than 50 films, many of which were box office hits. He turned a producer in 2016 with 'Action Hero Biju' under his banner Mr. Pauly Junior Pictures, which proved to be a big grosser.
