Actress Ameesha Patel will record statement in check bounce case on February 27

Ranchi, 21 February (HS). Film actress Ameesha Patel will record her statement under CrPC 313 on February 27 in the case related to check bounce. The statement of Ameesha Patel, her company Ameesha Patel Production and business partner Kumar Groomer will be recorded in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Digvijay Nath Shukla of Ranchi Civil Court. Both the parties had offered a settlement for mediation but no agreement could be reached, after which the court fixed February 27 for recording the statement of Ameesha Patel.

Film maker Ajay Kumar Singh alleges that Ameesha Patel had taken Rs 3 crore in the name of making the film Desi Magic. He had transferred money to the actress's account. When Ajay asked for money from Ameesha Patel when the film was not made, the actress gave a check of Rs 3 crore but it bounced. After this, Ajay Kumar Singh has filed a case of fraud against Ameesha Patel. In this case, Ameesha Patel had surrendered in Ranchi Civil Court on June 17, 2023.
