Bhagalpur, July 03 (HS). Former Chairman of Bihar State Child Labor Commission, Dr. Chakrapani Himanshu, on Wednesday expressed condolences to the families of more than 120 people who died and about 200 people were injured in a stampede after a satsang in Sikandaramou area of Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh.
He said that the government should immediately give compensation to the families of the deceased and the injured. He said that it is necessary to take permission from the district administration for any kind of big event. The central and state governments should take cognizance of this big incident of Hathras and the culprits should be given the harshest punishment. Action should also be taken against Surajpal Singh alias Bhole Baba, who preached in the satsang, and the organizer. So that such incidents can be stopped.
