Fatehabad, August 10 (HS). Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat said that if we want to provide pure food, water and air to the future generation, then we will have to adopt natural farming. Today, many farmers of Haryana are doing natural farming and they are also getting benefits from it. He addressed the farmers by participating as the chief guest in the Kisan Samvad program on natural farming organized by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare at Shagun Palace on Ratia Road in Tohana on Saturday. The program was chaired by Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala and Ratia MLA Laxman Napa arrived as the special guest.
Addressing the farmers, Governor Acharya Devvrat said that the central government is organizing dialogue programs across the country to promote natural farming. This is the farmer welfare policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for the first time someone has thought of organizing such a program. The farmer of India and Haryana state is a hard working person. Every person in the world needs a farmer three times a day, because it is the farmer who feeds every person. He told the farmers that organic farming is not the basic farming of India. Leaving this, we all should adopt natural farming. Only the natural yield is beneficial for the health of all of us.
The Governor said that in Gujarat, 9 lakh 75 thousand farmers have been linked to natural farming and in the coming time, 10 lakh more farmers will be linked. In Himachal Pradesh, 50 thousand farmers have been linked to natural farming in 2 years. There is not a single Panchayat in Himachal Pradesh that does not practice natural farming. About two kilos of nitrogen is produced from one ton of cow dung manure. Therefore, we should use cow manure as much as possible in the fields.
Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala welcomed the Governor and called upon him to take natural farming further and only then our future will be safe. It is worth mentioning that the efforts made by Governor Acharya Devvrat to promote natural farming in Himachal and Gujarat have yielded positive results. To encourage more people to join natural farming in Haryana, Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala is organising the Governor's programmes at the district level. For this, his team is working on this subject. On this occasion, an exhibition was also organised by the farmers. Chief guest Governor Acharya Devvrat and MP Subhash Barala also observed it and gained information. In this exhibition, farmers displayed their products.
