Accused who robbed Asha worker's bag arrested

Haridwar, June 29 (HS). Police has arrested an accused who snatched a bag from an Asha worker. The bag snatched from him and the motorcycle used in the incident have been recovered.

Sub-inspector Subhash Chandra said that on Friday, a complaint was filed by Vadiya, wife of Neeraj, a resident of village Buggawala, who is an ASHA worker, that an unknown person came on a motorcycle and snatched her bag from Bhagwanpur Gagalheri underpass and fled. The bag contained an identity card, Rs 1500 cash and a government mobile phone.

The police team took immediate action and collected and analyzed the CCTV footage around the crime scene. After this, the accused Nigam son Rakesh Kumar resident of village Maheshwar police station Bhagwanpur district Haridwar was caught with the stolen bag from the District Panchayat Market Bhagwanpur.
