Chatra, 1 November (Hindustanism). A case of rape of an 18-year-old girl has come to light on the day of Diwali in Naiparam village of Kalyanpur Panchayat of Tandwa police station area. In this regard, a case has been registered in case number 306/24 in Tandwa police station on the statement of the victim. On Friday, the police arrested the accused 20-year-old Badal Das and sent him to jail.
According to the FIR lodged, the accused Badal, a resident of Keredari Bel Chowk, reached the victim's house in Naiparam village on the day of Diwali and raped the victim. Today the police has sent the victim to Chatra for medical test.
