Bhagalpur, July 26 (HS). The court on Friday convicted Zeba Khan and her brother-in-law Intesar in the much-discussed pregnant Kajal murder case that took place three years ago on July 19, 2021 in Mogalpura under Babarganj police station area of the district.
The court of ADJ-5 Sudesh Kumar Srivastava has pronounced the verdict. This incident became a topic of discussion in the city 3 years ago. Whoever heard the story of this painful incident got terrified. The point of punishment in the case of Zeba Khan and her brother-in-law who were found guilty will be heard on July 29. Additional Public Prosecutor Riyaz Hussain participated in the hearing of the case.
Hearing is also going on against other named accused of the case. It is worth mentioning that the criminals had shot dead the pregnant daughter Kajal of Arif, a resident of Mogalpura, accusing her of being an informer. A case was registered in Babarganj police station by the father of the deceased Kajal, Arif. In which Tinku Mian, Zeba Khan, Intesar, Badshah and Rehmat Qureshi were made named accused.
After the incident, pressure was also put on the deceased's father Arif to withdraw the case. The deceased's father was also shot with the intention to kill him. Arif had lodged a separate complaint in Babarganj police station regarding this.
