Faridabad, 10 October (Hindustan Reporter). The team of Crime Branch Sector-56 has arrested the accused along with illegal firecrackers. Police spokesperson said on Thursday that the arrested accused Kamlesh Kumar is a resident of Sanjay Colony, Mujesar, Faridabad.
The crime branch team has arrested the accused from Sanjay Colony area of Mujesar police station based on information received from its secret sources. 51.500 kg of firecrackers have been recovered from the accused on the spot. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections at Mujesar police station, Faridabad and he has been arrested. During interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that in order to earn more profit, the accused had bought banned firecrackers for Rs 15,000/- from a person in Delhi and was selling them. The accused was selling firecrackers for the last 2/3 days. After interrogation, the accused was presented in the court and action was taken as per rules.
