Brain Lara selected Indian team for T20 World Cup: Before the announcement of Team India for the T20 World Cup, former cricket greats are announcing their choices. Now West Indies legend Brian Lara, who scored 400 runs in Test cricket, has also announced the Indian team.
Lara also selected 15 potential players
Lara has also shortlisted 15 potential players who can make it to the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. Brian Lara has selected Rohit and Yashasvi Jaiswal as openers in his team. While Virat Kohli has been given the third position and Suryakumar Yadav has been given the fourth position. Lara has also included Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson in the 15-member squad for wicketkeeper batsmen.
Finisher cricketer Rinku Singh was not given a place.
Apart from this, Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey are also included in the team selected by Brian Lara. Along with Jadeja, Lara has also included Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal as spinners in the team.
Also, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Sandeep Sharma and Mayank Yadav have been selected as fast bowlers. New finisher cricketer Rinku Singh was not included in Brian Lara's Indian team announcement which shocked his fans.
India has won this title only once
T20 World Cup will be played in June. In which India has won the T20 title only once. Since then India has failed to win this title. Apart from this, in 2014, India reached the final, but lost to Sri Lanka.
