According to the information received, ASI Madhav Singh posted in Ramanuj Nagar police station and another person have been caught by the Anti Corruption Bureau team. As per the information, thirty thousand rupees bribe was demanded from the victim's family, and the ACB team caught them red handed while taking it.
According to the information, Shivmangal Singh, resident of village Surata, police station Ramanujnagar district Surajpur had complained in the office of Anti Corruption Bureau Ambikapur that in village Surata, the applicant's brother was hit on the head with a tangia and got seriously injured, and crime number 93/2024 was registered in police station Ramanujnagar under sections 294, 506, 323, 34. The crime is being investigated by Assistant Sub Inspector Madhav Singh. In order to add section 307 to the above crime, arrest the accused and challan, the investigating officer Assistant Sub Inspector Madhav Singh was demanding a bribe of Rs 30 thousand.
He did not want to give bribe, rather wanted to be caught red-handed while taking bribe. After the complaint was found to be true on verification, a trap was organized and on June 26, the accused Assistant Sub-Inspector Madhav Singh, Police Station Ramanuj Nagar, District Surajpur and his associate Mohmuddin through whom the bribe amount of Rs 10,000 was taken, both were caught red-handed. The accused have been arrested and action is being taken against them under the provisions of Section 7 of the PC Act 1988.
