Giridih, 03 August (HS). The two-day central working committee meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) started on Saturday in Giridih district.

It was held at the holy pilgrimage Shri Sammed Shikhar Ji, Parasnath. The program was started by lighting lamps in front of the pictures of Maa Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda by the National President of the Vidyarthi Parishad Dr. Rajsharan Shahi, National General Secretary Yagyavalkya Shukla and National Organization Minister Ashish Chauhan.

On the first day of this Central Working Committee meeting of the Vidyarthi Parishad, during the provincial training camps of the Vidyarthi Parishad organized across the country, various new experiments, the efforts of the Vidyarthi Parishad to connect students with environmental activities, the current educational and social situation of the country, university courses, etc. were discussed.

In the Parasnath Central Working Committee meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the issue of insult to women during the women's boxing match during the Paris Olympics was raised prominently. The match between Italy's Angela Carini and Algeria's Iman Khalif during the Paris Olympics-2024 is an example of poor vocalism. Putting a biological male in a women's match is extremely unfortunate and insulting to women.

ABVP National President Dr. Rajsharan Shahi while addressing the representatives present in the inaugural session of the Central Working Committee meeting said that Jain philosophy has a very important place in Indian tradition. The contribution of Jain sages and philosophers in the Indian knowledge tradition is unique. In the present times, issues related to environment and climate change are very important. Through their conduct, Jain sages have made the citizens aware and sensitive towards the environment. The meeting of the Vidhyarthi Parishad being organized at a special place like Parasnath will prove to be a discovery of new directions.

National General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Yagyavalkya Shukla said that at present, questions have been raised about transparency during the conduct of various examinations. It is very important to ensure the purity of the examination to maintain the sanctity of education. Systemic changes are necessary in the National Examination Agency (NTA), so that the examinations being conducted by this agency can be conducted without any problem. In the context of coaching also, problems are constantly coming up from different parts of the country, there is a need to take immediate steps to regulate the coaching sector.
