Jhansi, 09 June (HS). Uttar Pradesh B.Ed entrance examination was conducted successfully across the state today. The responsibility of conducting the examination was given to Bundelkhand University located in Jhansi. Special arrangements were made for this by the university. 470 examination centers were set up in 51 districts of the state. Out of the total candidates, about 90 percent candidates appeared for the examination across the state including Jhansi. A representative was sent to every district from the university level. The examination was conducted by establishing coordination with the administration at the district level. The examination was also conducted at 4 centers in Jhansi.

In the B.Ed entrance exam, 90 percent of the total candidates appeared in the exam. A total of 1 lakh 93 thousand 411 candidates appeared in the exam. Among them, 1 candidate was also transgender. He appeared for the exam in Ballia. In Jhansi, about 90 percent of the total 2700 candidates appeared for the exam at 4 examination centers.

Two cheaters caught from Agra and Prayagraj

The university also resorted to artificial intelligence to prevent cheating. A command control center was established for this. Two candidates were caught cheating during the examination. One candidate was caught from Agra and the other from Prayagraj.

Bundelkhand University Vice Chancellor Professor Mukesh Pandey said that the state government had given the university the responsibility of conducting the B.Ed entrance examination for the second consecutive time. Following this, we have conducted the examination safely and without cheating in the entire state. Our team has worked tirelessly for the last two months. We used technology. With the help of technology, two people who were cheating were caught. They had come to take the exam in place of someone else. Action has been taken against them. All the teams have left for Jhansi with answer sheets from across the state.
