AAP's burning question…if there is a scam then where is the money? ED gave a great example of this answer

There was a long debate in the Delhi High Court on Wednesday on the petition of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Arguments started from both sides. ASG SV Raju, appearing for ED in the court of Justice Swarnkant Sharma, said that there is no room for doubt that a liquor scam has taken place. For the first time, ED has given a clear answer on the issue of non-receipt of money. ED said that even if the body is not found, punishment is given in the murder case.

ED's lawyer said that it is being alleged that our (Kejriwal's arrest) has been done because of the elections. But all this was already going on. This did not happen during the elections. This is just to divert the court from the real issue. It is not that ED is also active now. ED has been active for many years. He said that a large amount of digital evidence was destroyed. You work through middlemen and do not come into the picture, do not change phones from time to time. Then he says that I did not do anything. You did it very cleverly but we told you everything.

Answering the question whether money was not received, ED said that if we prove that you are involved in money laundering then the question of getting money does not arise. Raju says that the argument is being made that nothing was found from my house. But if you give it to someone else then where will you get it from your home? Explaining his point, the ASG said, Honorable, you know that in many cases the body is not found, but the case continues and the culprits are also found. This does not mean that murder did not take place.

Earlier, senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing on behalf of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal through video conferencing, presented his arguments. He called the arrest false and tried to link it with the Lok Sabha elections. Questioning the timing, he said that his client has been arrested to defame and prevent him from taking part in the elections. Singhvi once again claimed that the accused and witnesses changed their statements against Kejriwal under pressure from the ED. He also said that ED has no evidence against Kejriwal.
