Moga: Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal said that the Sangrur poisonous liquor tragedy speaks volumes about the condition of Punjab and Sangrur, the native district of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, which should be investigated. He was talking to journalists in Moga and Dharamkot during the Punjab Bachao Yatra on Thursday.

Talking about the Sangrur hooch tragedy, Sukhbir Badal said that this is what happens when the government is stalled and you ask your MLAs to meet with illicit liquor and drug dealers. He said that I am saying again and again that you MLAs are giving protection to drug smugglers and taking money from them. He rejected the orders given for investigation of this tragedy at SDM level and said that such a junior officer can neither identify the real culprits behind this illegal business nor can blame the politicians behind it. Judicial inquiry into this matter is very important.

Sukhbir Badal said that Bhagwant Mann is engaged in the service of his boss Arvind Kejriwal and is also looting the government treasury of Punjab for the expansion of Aam Aadmi Party in other states of the country. Badal appealed to Punjabis to uproot AAP from the state. He said that we take everyone along on the path of progress and we have established world class road networks, thermal plants and airports. We are committed to bring the state back on the path of development after being re-elected by the people.

On this occasion, Barjinder Singh Makhan Brar, District President Amarjit Singh Landeke, Moga in-charge Banjit Singh Sunny Gill, Nihal Singh Talwandi Bhangeri and workers were present.
