AAP MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi passes away Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Gurpreet Gogi from Ludhiana, Punjab died after being shot in the head. Gogi was AAP MLA from Ludhiana West assembly constituency. According to the police, after being shot, he was taken to the hospital where after examination the doctors declared him dead.

The incident happened on Friday night. According to the information, the bullet hit Gogi in the head. As soon as the sound of firing was heard, there was chaos in the house. When the family members went into the room, they saw that he was lying soaked in blood. Then the family members took him to the hospital.
What did the police say?
Ludhiana DCP Jaskaran Singh Teja said that according to the family and people present in the house, Gurpreet Gogi died due to bullet injury in the head. He was declared dead on the way to the hospital. His body has been kept in the mortuary of DMC Hospital. Post mortem of the body will be conducted on Saturday.
