Suhani, who played Babita Phogat's childhood character in Dangal, died of dermatomyositis at the age of 19. Dangal actor Aamir Khan met actress Suhani Bhatnagar's family in Faridabad on Thursday evening, days after her death. Aamir sympathizes and asks about Suhani's illness and gives courage to the family to overcome this sad time.
Following Suhani's demise, Aamir Khan's production house released a statement expressing grief, saying, “We are deeply saddened to hear about the demise of our Suhani. Our heartfelt condolences to his mother Pooja ji and the entire family. “Dangal without Suhani, a talented young lady.” Would have been incomplete.
The statement further said, “Suhani, you will always be a star in our hearts. May your soul rest in peace.”
Family members told that Suhani was suffering from a disease called dermatomyositis. Suhani's immune system had become weak due to this disease.
She had an accident some time ago and was continuously taking medicines. Some medications may have reacted and caused him to become dehydrated. For which he was undergoing treatment. He was having trouble breathing and because of this he could not be saved.
Talking about Aamir Khan's work front, he is trying his luck in production. His film is 'Sitaare Zameen Par', which will be inspired by the same story as 'Taare Zameen Par'. Apart from this, 'Lapata Ladies' made in his production house is also going to be released.
