Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held an important meeting to discuss the strategy for Lok Sabha elections in Punjab. This meeting was held under the leadership of AAP Punjab President Bhagwant Mann. AAP National Secretary Dr. Sandeep Pathak, two-time Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, AAP Punjab Working President Principal Buddha Ram, Cabinet Ministers and all AAP MLAs were present in this meeting.
Talking to journalists after the meeting, senior AAP leader and Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that there was a positive atmosphere in the meeting. Maan Saheb, Pathak ji and Sanjay Singh ji shared their experiences with MLAs, constituency in-charges and AAP Lok Sabha candidates of Punjab for the upcoming elections. He said that all our senior leaders shared their mantra in the meeting and told how we are going to win all the 13 seats of Punjab.
He said that we have talked about taking our policies, decisions and actions to every household of Punjab. We will also tell people how BJP is misusing ED and CBI to weaken democracy in our country.
He said that our two-year report card as Punjab government is impressive and today top leaders of our party shared how we will make people aware of all our work, achievements and pro-Punjab decisions. He said that our Lok Sabha candidates, volunteers and leaders will go door-to-door and talk to people and hold meetings. Along with this, we will continue to oppose the anti-people policies of BJP, their dictatorship and the undeclared emergency of BJP in the country.
The AAP leader said that during the campaign he will also tell people how our national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has been kept in jail in a false case. How ED and CBI are being sent against opposition party leaders every day. We will deliver all these things to the people of Punjab. Punjab has always opposed those leaders who have betrayed Punjab. The whole world knows that when the farmers' movement started, it first started from Punjab. BJP and Akali Dal brought three black laws and the farmers of the country fought against them and won. People know that around 750 farmers were martyred during the farmers' strike and the second time when the farmers gathered for their rights, the BJP government opened fire on them.
He said that our senior leadership has discussed all these issues with all the MLAs, constituency in-charges and Lok Sabha candidates of Punjab. People of Punjab will defeat Akali Dal and BJP because people have not forgotten the incidents of blasphemy, Congress has no chance in Punjab. On the basis of the efficient leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and our politics, Aam Aadmi Party will win 13-0.
