The discussion about Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut contesting the Lok Sabha elections was going on for the last few days. Meanwhile, BJP has declared Kangana Ranaut as its candidate from Himachal Pradesh. But as soon as Kangana's candidature was announced, some controversies have also erupted. A post by Congress leader Supriya Srineth regarding Kangana is currently going viral. In this he has given a very objectionable statement about Kangana.

Supriya Shrineth had shared a post with Kangana Ranaut's photo on social media and asked the question, 'What is the price going on in the market today?' But as soon as he realized his mistake, he deleted the post. Also, Supriya Srineth has claimed that a person who had access to her social media account has done this. But now BJP's Lok Sabha candidate Kangana Ranaut has also reacted on this.

Giving clarification on this post, Congress leader Supriya Shrinet said that someone with access to my Facebook and Instagram accounts has shared a very objectionable post. It has been removed immediately. She said, “People who know me know that I would never write such a thing about any woman.” Apart from this, there is also an X account named @SupriaParody which is misusing my name. Supriya Shrinet said that we are filing a complaint against this.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has also reacted to this objectionable post from Supriya Shrinet's social media account. In this Kangana Ranaut said that Supriya Srineth, in my last 20 years of career as an artiste, I have played many female roles. Her roles have ranged from a village girl in Queen to a flamboyant female detective. We have to free our daughters from prejudice. Also, their curiosity about body parts should be addressed and most importantly, stigmatization of the challenging lives and circumstances of prostitutes should be avoided. Kangana Ranaut said that every woman deserves respect.
