Aadhaar Card Update: The central government has extended the deadline for free Aadhaar card update. Before this the last update was on 14 March. But now the government has extended it to June 14. UIDAI has given this information through a social media post. This service is available for free on myAadhaar portal.
Who will get the free service?
People whose Aadhar card was made 10 years ago and if you have not updated your Aadhar card after its creation, then you can update it for free. For this you will have to go to the official website of UIDAI and login. The last date for this free Aadhaar update was fixed as 14th March, which has now been extended to 14th June. After this, Rs 25 will have to be paid to update Aadhaar.

Update your Aadhaar like this
To update your Aadhaar, first you have to login to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. You will be logged in with the help of OTP received on Aadhaar number and the phone number linked to it. So you have to follow these steps.
After this you can verify your identity, address and other details. If these details are correct in your Aadhaar account, you simply click on I verify that the above details are correct and submit.
If your details are not correct, you will have to re-upload by selecting it from the relevant document drop down menu. After this your Aadhaar will be updated.
