A young vegetable vendor died after being hit by a cargo magic

Varanasi, July 15 (HS). A young vegetable vendor died on Monday after being hit by a speeding truck near Domaila village on Kachwan Kapsethi road in Mirzamurad police station area. Angered by the accident, the local people blocked the road demanding compensation for the family of the deceased vegetable vendor. Police officers also reached the spot with force on receiving the information.

Jeetlal Sonkar (26), son of Ashok Sonkar, a resident of Domaila village, reached Kachhwa Kapsethi road this morning to go somewhere from home. Standing on the roadside, Jeetlal was waiting for a passenger vehicle. Meanwhile, a speeding uncontrolled magic vehicle hit Jeet and after going some distance, it collided with a tree and overturned. Jeetlal was seriously injured in the accident. The local people informed the police about the incident and took the injured to a private hospital in Bhadwar, where he died.

The family members and the local people, enraged by the accident, blocked the road by placing the body on the road. On receiving the information, ACP Rajatalab along with the local police also reached the spot. The ACP tried to convince the family members of the deceased who were involved in the blockade, but the family members did not agree. After this, the ACP informed the Tehsildar Rajatalab Sangram Singh about the matter. The Tehsildar who reached the spot assured the family members of the deceased of compensation of Rs 5 lakh and action against the magic driver, only then the people agreed. After restoring the traffic, the police took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. On getting the information of Jeet's death, his wife Laxmina Devi and mother Rani Devi started crying. The atmosphere became sad due to their painful cries. There was mourning in the Sonkar colony of the village. According to the family members, Jeet got married in the month of April. He used to support the family by selling vegetables.
