Ghaziabad, August 23 (HS). A woman in KM Residency of Rajnagar Extension, upset with her husband's harassment, committed suicide by jumping from the 11th floor. Before dying, this woman named Aarti also wrote a seven-page suicide note. In which she has blamed her husband for harassment and held him responsible for her death. The police has sent the woman's body for post-mortem. The police has taken the accused husband into custody.
ACP Ravi Kumar said on Friday night that Aarti Tyagi, 32-year-old wife of Mayank Tyagi, committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of her flat on the 11th floor of KM Residency Society located in Rajnagar Extension. The ACP said that Aarti took this step after being fed up with her husband's harassment. After receiving a seven-page suicide note written by Aarti, the police registered a case against her husband. The accused has been taken into custody. He said that Mayank was married to Aarti, a resident of Meerut, in 2020. Aarti has written in her suicide note that Mayank keeps harassing her on one pretext or the other. Sometimes he taunts her for dowry and beats her, sometimes on some other pretext. Fed up with the daily harassment, she decided to end her life.
