A voter stuck in mud

After Lasani's sacrifice, the democratic system came into existence. Till the sixteenth century, monarchy was dominant in every corner of the world. There was a long struggle to get the right to vote. Now times have changed. Times have changed, they should also change. Everyone's sanity seems to have been lost in this change. Especially the conscience of politicians is nowhere to be seen.

A voter is called a voter. What is the benefit of the giver? Today he seems most troubled. It is beyond their understanding as to which party or candidate they should vote for because they do not know when the MLA or MP will switch to another party after winning. It seems as if most of our leaders have no religion. The incident of 'Aaya Ram and Gaya Ram' is beyond comprehension. Our leaders change colors in front of chameleons.

Nowadays it is difficult to trust any political person. Neither politics nor politicians were alike. There were neither politicians with the same language nor politicians who kept their promises. Where will the voters go when there is no dignity? He has the right to vote only after five years. Social media has captured the thinking power of people. These politicians have kept the public in the clutches or illusion of religion, free ration and other false promises. Baahubali has the dominance of four rooms.

Apart from force, they also blindly use money to intimidate voters. Voters are misled to hide their votes. In such a situation the conscience or intellect gets corrupted. Every political party comes before the public with its manifesto in which big promises are made. Voters are sold colorful dreams. After winning the elections, the dream merchants disappear. Why not turn that declaration into a legal guarantee?

Why do leaders of all parties call him their guarantee? If a party does not fulfill its promises after winning, then legal action should be taken against it. If the election manifesto of every political class is brought under the ambit of law, then after winning, the rulers will have to fulfill every promise of the manifesto. Till date no government has been able to provide legal guarantee of MSP to the farmers. Farmers roam on the streets. Whereas 80 percent of the voters are associated with farming.

No government has given security and equal participation to women, everyone makes promises. The three pillars of our democracy have fallen badly. The only pillar left is the courts from which the public has hopes. Every political party talks about stopping corruption but does not actually implement it. Now there is so much corruption in Electrol Bond from which no party is free.

I am just trying my bit to give suggestions so that people don't feel cheated. The first thing is that no MLA or MP can change his party for 5 years after winning the election. Voters win by voting for a candidate of a particular party. If he changes party after winning then the voter feels cheated.

Apologize! Today's candidates change not one but many parties. Along with this, no one should take their MLAs and lock them in hotels. By doing this, corruption involving transactions worth crores will be stopped. The public will also not feel cheated. Any promise made by a party must have legal guarantee.

Even with this the public will not feel cheated. Legal action should also be taken against those who politicize religion, which will reduce the chances of riots. Those who spread hatred in the name of religion should be given strict punishment. No high official, irrespective of department, whether attached to the Court, can hold any other high government or political post for five years after resigning or retiring from his post.

There should be a law for this also. Most importantly, the age for participation of politicians in active politics should be fixed. Rules should be made regarding their education. While filing his nomination papers, every candidate should keep a special eye on the details of his cash and immovable assets to see how much they have increased in the last five years.

Today voters are troubled by the promises of political parties, unemployment and inflation. The hope with which they vote means that when a party is not successful, there is no hope of change in their hands for five years. Apart from watching political parties blaming each other and fighting among themselves on TV. No party fulfills its promises and people are forced to take to the streets again with their demands but the ruling party does not even listen to them. Due to many such problems, voters are very worried about where to go and whom to vote for?
