A unique walkathon will be held in Indore on March 7, more than 25 thousand women will participate wearing sarees

Indore, March 4 (HS). There will be a walkathon of women in traditional attire (sari) in Indore on 7th March. More than 25 thousand women wearing sarees will participate in this walkathon. Extensive preparations are going on for this unique and innovative event. Divisional Commissioner Malsingh and Collector Ashish Singh reached Nehru Stadium on Monday and took stock of the preparations. Rajya Sabha member Kavita Patidar was also present on this occasion.

On this occasion, Traffic DCP Manish Aggarwal, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harshika Singh, Handloom Commissioner Mohit Bundas and officials of other concerned departments were present. On this occasion it was told that this walkathon will start on March 7 at 4 pm. Starting from Nehru Stadium, it will again end at Nehru Stadium itself. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is also proposed to participate in the program.
