A unique village! There is no person to protect the peacock in this village

In many villages of Hanumantunipadu and Veligandla districts, peacocks guard the villages. Due to the presence of peacocks in the village, animals like snakes, scorpions, mandragaba have stopped being seen.

There is a village in Andhra Pradesh which is not guarded by a human, dog or animal but by a peacock. Many villages in Hanumantunipadu and Veligandla mandals of the state are close to forest areas. In such a situation, poisonous animals like snakes, scorpions, Manda Gabba used to come to the villages and bite people, due to which people used to tremble with fear while roaming in the villages at night. However, peacocks have been protecting the villages for some time now, due to which these cases have reduced. The national bird peacock has become a protective shield in Gudipathipalli, Kattkindapalli villages of Veligandala mandal, Mangampalli villages of Hanumanthanipadu mandal.

According to the information, a few years ago some youth of the village had gone to the forest to graze cattle. He found five eggs in the forest. Although the eggs looked quite large, he still brought them to the village. In such a situation, when the eggs hatched and the peacocks came out as chicks, the villagers got scared after seeing them. People believed that if peacocks were kept in the village, the forest officials would face trouble. Although he kept the peacock in the village, with time the peacock babies grew up.

Peacocks have been living with people for the last ten years

Mor has been meeting people in the villages and living with them for the last ten years. Due to the presence of peacocks in the village, animals like snakes, scorpions, mandragaba have stopped being seen. Due to which there was no limit to the happiness of the villagers. The villagers give grains as food to the peacocks at times of need. Then peacocks also roam in the village instead of taking the forest path and are protecting like security guards to prevent poisonous insects from entering the village. If anyone tries to hunt peacock or comes from outside, the villagers punish him severely.
