Bhopal, June 02 (HS). 13 people have died when a tractor-trolley full of wedding party members overturned in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday night. Rajgarh Collector Harsh Dixit has confirmed this. Many people have been injured in the accident, who have been brought to the district hospital. It is being told that the people in the tractor-trolley were coming to Kulampura village of Rajgarh district with a wedding party from Rajasthan. During this time this accident happened.
The accident happened on Sunday night at around 9:30 near Piplodi, around 30 km from Rajgarh district headquarters. According to the information, the tractor-trolley was coming to Kulampura village of Dehrinath Gram Panchayat of Rajgarh district with a wedding procession from Motipura village of Chhipabadod police station area of Rajasthan. Due to high speed, the tractor-trolley went out of control and overturned in the darkness of the night and the women, children and men coming in the wedding procession in the trolley got buried under it. There was a lot of screaming and shouting on the spot after the accident. As soon as the information was received, the people nearby reached the spot and pulled out the people buried under the trolley. Along with this, the administration was also informed. After which police and administration officials reached the spot.
More than seven ambulances were sent to the spot to bring the injured from the spot to the hospital. From there, the injured and the dead were brought to the district hospital with the help of different ambulances. Till the time of writing the news, the death of 13 people was initially confirmed in the District Hospital Rajgarh.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, Collector Harsh Dixit, Superintendent of Police Aditya Mishra, SDM Gulab Singh Baghel and other senior officials reached the district hospital and the incident site and along with the rescue work, the injured and the dead were taken to Rajgarh District Hospital.
On getting information about the incident, a crowd of villagers started gathering at the spot. With the help of JCB, the villagers pulled out the people buried under the tractor. Apart from this, they helped in sending them away in ambulances. A crowd of villagers kept gathering at the spot. They were continuously cooperating with the police and administration and were engaged in sending away the dead bodies and the injured.
SDM Gulab Singh Baghel said that the accident is heart-wrenching. More than 25 people were buried under the tractor-trolley. Out of the people who have been brought to the district hospital, 13 people have been confirmed dead. The rest of the injured are being brought to the hospital. The entire situation will become clear after everyone arrives.
