A touring group of farmers sent to develop the art of learning from CSA

Kanpur, 16 March (Hindustan Reporter). A team was sent on a tour on Saturday to double the income of farmers and develop the art of learning by watching. This information was given by Professor RK Yadav, Director Extension, Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur.

He informed that a team of farmers will be trained on the fields of Agricultural University, Ayodhya and Sugarcane Research Institute, Lucknow. Dr. Yadav said that with this, farmers will become familiar with the latest techniques of agriculture and will get detailed information about the cultivation of multiple crops, cash crops and industrial and aromatic plants. Director Extension said that such programs will help in fulfilling the resolve of doubling the income of farmers.

He said that the vehicle of the tour group of 50 farmers was flagged off by Vice Chancellor Dr. Anand Kumar Singh on Saturday. The team of farmers is being led by senior scientist Dr. N. Lari. On this occasion, Dr. SL Verma, Dr. Anil Singh, Dr. Karam Hussain, Dr. VK Kanojia and others were present.
