Ballia, June 03 (HS). Heavy security arrangements have been made for the counting of votes on Tuesday after the Lok Sabha elections. A three-tier security cordon has been made for the entire counting venue.

Superintendent of Police Devranjan Verma said on Monday evening that Ballia Police has made very strict security arrangements for the counting of Lok Sabha election votes in Tikhampur Mandi premises. A three-tier security circle has been created and CRPF, PAC, civil police, traffic police and home guards have been deployed in large numbers with riot control equipment.

He informed that the counting of votes will also be monitored by drones. Along with this, strict action will be taken against those who try to spread anarchy by identifying them with the help of CCTV cameras and videography at various places. He said that three buses have also been arranged for the arrest of the anarchist elements. Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram etc. are also being continuously monitored. The anarchist elements who try to spread anarchy and violence with weapons are being identified on social media and cases are being registered against them.

The movement of vehicles will remain closed on the road leading to the counting venue

According to the Superintendent of Police, during the counting period, the operation of private vehicles will be prohibited from NCC Tiraha to Shankarpur Tiraha. Vehicles of no one will be operated except those participating in the counting. Government and private persons participating in the counting will park at the designated parking places only. A detailed advisory on traffic and parking is being issued separately.
