When a thief entered Salman's house
On Preity Zinta's chat show 'Up Close and Personal with PZ', Salman Khan revealed how many people stayed in his house for months. Some of them were his and brother Arbaaz Khan's friends like photographer Avinash Gowariker. Then there were some complete strangers whom he got to know months later and who became a part of his daily life. But one night after a party at Salman's house, a thief decided to try his luck.
Salman said on the show, 'One night after a grand party at home, Arbaaz and I went to our bedroom and fell asleep. Suddenly I opened my eyes and saw a big shadow moving strangely above me. I woke Arbaaz up and asked him to be quiet. Then a man came out of the darkness and he did not look that big. It seemed as if he was dancing. I signaled Arbaaz that we would jump on the count of three.
Salman fed the thief
Salman said that when he started questioning the thief, he said that he was trying to steal for the first time. He was dancing because he had stolen a walkman from the actor's house. When Salman asked the thief what he had stolen, he showed him the entire Rs 5 that the actor had. Salman asked the thief if he had eaten food, he said no. So the actor fed him. He said, 'Then my mother said, 'Who is this man?' I told her that he is a thief. She said, 'Then why are you feeding him?'
After this, the actor told the thief that he will call the police after having food. 'It was six in the morning. We were taking him to the police station. The thief told us that we have to go to the police and do so much paperwork that it would be better if you tie me outside, he asked us to tie a knot in the rope and when the policemen were coming, somehow he opened the rope. After listening to Salman's words, Preeti said that the man will now watch her films. To this, the actor replied that he does not even know whom he met that night.
