Chandauli, 26 July (HS). Late Thursday night, a speeding Bolero lost control and collided with a tree and overturned in a ditch near Barhani town of Kandwa police station area of the district. Three people travelling in the Bolero vehicle died in the accident. Two others were injured. Police reached the spot after getting the information and took the bodies into their custody after sending the injured to the hospital.
The deceased were identified as Dhananjay Yadav (27) son of Omprakash, resident of Bhanpur police station Durgawati Bihar, Guddu Yadav (24) son of Bhim Yadav, resident of Mohammadpur police station Saidaraja Chandauli, Sonu Yadav (32) son of Keshav Yadav, resident of Bhanpur police station Durgawati Bihar. The injured are Sushil Yadav and Rahul Yadav, residents of Narma police station Durgawati Bihar. Upon getting information about the incident, the family members of the deceased youths and the injured also reached the hospital.
According to the local people, the youth riding the Bolero were returning home at night after visiting Baba Kinaram Sthal. It is believed that they were driving the Bolero due to fatigue.
When the youth dozed off, the vehicle went out of control and overturned. When the family got to know about the incident, there was chaos in the village and the villagers also reached the spot along with the family. They were told that the deceased Dhananjay alias Bhola Yadav was the only son of his father Om Prakash.
