Kanpur, June 18 (HS). The scorching heat and hot winds are proving to be fatal these days and people are dying every day. In this episode, on Tuesday, a constable fainted and fell outside the Central Railway Station and the local people immediately informed the police. The police reached the spot and admitted him to the nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
Collectorganj ACP Mohd. Mohsin Khan said that head constable Brij Kishore Singh was posted in the police line Kanpur Nagar. On Tuesday, he was going to his home in Jhansi on a three-day leave. He had just reached outside the Central Railway Station towards Gate No. 1 below the Central Hotel when he suddenly fainted and fell down. On this, the local people immediately informed the police and started pouring water on the head constable.
On receiving the information, the local people told the police that due to heat stroke, the head constable fainted and fell unconscious. On this, the Harbansh Mohalla police station immediately admitted the head constable in unconscious state to KPM Hospital where the doctors declared him dead. The family members have been informed about the incident and further legal action is being taken.
